8. LinkedIn Integration
Qforce Pulse integrates with LinkedIn in two ways: (1) to allow users to sign in or connect their LinkedIn accounts, and (2) to publish content to the Qforce Pulse company page on LinkedIn. Our use of LinkedIn's API is governed by LinkedIn's API Terms of Use, and our privacy practices are at least as protective as LinkedIn's own Privacy Policy.
Company Page Content Publishing
We use LinkedIn's Community Management API to publish content (such as articles, updates, and thought leadership posts) to the official Qforce Pulse company page on LinkedIn. This activity:
- Is performed solely by authorized Qforce Pulse administrators
- Publishes content only to our own company page, not to any third-party or user profiles
- Does not access, collect, or store any LinkedIn user data as part of the publishing process
- Does not interact with, read, or modify content on any other LinkedIn pages or profiles
Data We Collect from LinkedIn Users
When you sign in to Qforce Pulse using LinkedIn or connect your LinkedIn account, we may collect the following from your LinkedIn profile with your explicit consent:
- Name and profile picture
- Email address
- Job title and company
- LinkedIn profile URL
This data is collected at the time you authorize access and is not automatically refreshed unless you re-authenticate.
How We Use LinkedIn Data
We use information obtained from LinkedIn solely to:
- Create and populate your Qforce Pulse account
- Personalize your experience on our platform
- Communicate with you about our services
We do not sell, rent, or share your LinkedIn data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Revoking LinkedIn Access
You can revoke Qforce Pulse's access to your LinkedIn data at any time by:
- Visiting your LinkedIn Permitted Services settings and removing Qforce Pulse
- Contacting us at info@qforcepulse.com to request deletion of your LinkedIn-sourced data
Once access is revoked, we will stop collecting data from LinkedIn and delete any previously collected LinkedIn data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including standard contractual clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.
